When is your startup news worth a press release?

A lot of what we do is helping our clients understand what’s “news.” In some cases, that might mean convincing them that it’s a great idea to share a piece of important information or an exciting update in a press release. In other cases, it’s explaining that while the topic at hand might be interesting to them, it might not be considered “news” outside their own office. In others still, an update might be great news — but the timing isn’t quite right.
