Heed PR co-founder David Martin recently joined host Mike Costa for an episode of My Morning Cup, a podcast featuring conversations with Chattanooga business and community leaders.

The conversation traces David’s somewhat unconventional path to public relations, from studying history and working for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services to nonprofit communications, startups, and ultimately launching Heed PR with his wife and business partner, Natalie. David also shares how getting involved in Chattanooga helped shape both his career and Heed, and why the agency has intentionally remained small enough to work closely with the organizations it serves.
